Wringworthy just a five minute drive to Looe, is surrounded by farmland in an area which is officially designated as a "Special Area of Great Landscape Value", with undulating hills, a patchwork of small fields with different crops, all interspersed with copses and woods. Within a short walking distance there is a pub that does food.

A couple of miles to the South is the coast with spectacular scenery, rocky cliffs, woods tumbling down the hills to the beach, little sandy coves and the small, sheltered fishing villages such as the famous Looe and Polperro. Five miles to the North is Bodmin Moor, with its ancient mine workings, prehistoric stones and monoliths.

    Looe

There is certainly plenty to choose from whatever the time or the weather. Within 5 miles we have the Monkey Sanctuary, the Looe Valley Railway, Liskeard Livestock Market, Lux Park Leisure Centre, Merlin Glass, Dobwalls Family Adventure Park, Porfell Animal Land and lots more.

Just half an hour drive away is the exciting Eden Project- 2 gigantic bio domes set in a 50 metre deep crater. Experience the rain forest in the humid tropics bio dome and the Mediterranean and desert in the warm temperature bio dome. Close to Eden is the magical 'Lost Gardens of Heligan, and of course the National Trust & English Heritage have several properties and gardens in the area. The historic city of Plymouth has lots to offer - theatres, shops on the Barbican harbour, and wander on the famous Hoe where Sir Francis Drake played bowls.
